Cookie Usage Policy

This Policy defines the rules of storage and access to information on the User's devices via Cookies, for the purpose of delivering electronic services requested by the User, by Eoptimo sp. z o.o., based in Lodz.

  1. Definitions
    1. Administrator - refers to Eoptimo sp. z o.o., ul. Piotrkowska 270, 90-361 Łódź entered into the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for Łódź-Centrum in Łódź, XX Commercial Department under the number KRS 0000702088, Tax Identification Number: 7252236987, Business Statistical Number: 368677080, which provides electronic services and stores and gains access to information in User's devices.
    2. Cookies - refers to computer data, especially small text files, saved and stored on devices through which the User uses the Service's website.
    3. Own Cookies - refers to Cookies placed by the Administrator, related to providing electronic services by the Administrator via the Service.
    4. External Cookies - refers to Cookies placed by the Administrator's partners, via the Service's website.
    5. Service - refers to the website or application under which the Administrator operates the internet service, operating in the domain eoptimo.eu.
    6. Device - refers to an electronic device through which the User accesses the Service.
    7. User - refers to an entity on behalf of which, in accordance with the Regulations and legal provisions, electronic services may be provided or with which an agreement for providing electronic services may be concluded.
  2. Types of Cookies Used
    1. The Administrator's Cookies are safe for the User's Device. In particular, it is not possible through this to get viruses or other unwanted software or malicious software onto the User's Devices. These files allow the identification of the software used by the User and adjust the Service individually to each User. Cookies usually contain the domain name they come from, their storage time on the Device, and the assigned value.
    2. The Administrator uses two types of cookie files:
      1. Session cookies: are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the end of the browser session. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory. The session cookies mechanism does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be downloaded from the User's Device.
      2. Persistent cookies: are stored on the User's Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending a given browser session or turning off the Device does not delete them from the User's Device. The persistent cookies mechanism does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be downloaded from the User's Device.
    3. The User has the option to limit or disable the access of cookie files to their Device. If you use this option, the use of the Service will be possible, except for functions which by their nature require cookie files.
  3. Purposes for which Cookies are used

    The Administrator uses Own Cookies for the following purposes:

    1. Service configuration
      1. adjusting the contents of the Service's websites to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Service's websites;
      2. recognizing the User's Service device and its location and properly displaying the webpage, tailored to their individual needs;
      3. remembering settings chosen by the User and personalizing the User's interface, for example, in the language or region the User comes from;
      4. remembering the history of visited pages in the service in order to recommend content;
      5. font size, website appearance, etc.
    2. Authenticating the user in the service and ensuring the user's session in the service
      1. maintaining the User's Service session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service;
      2. correct configuration of selected Service functions, allowing in particular for verification of the browser session authenticity;
      3. optimizing and increasing the efficiency of services provided by the Administrator.
    3. Realization of processes necessary for full functionality of websites
      1. adjusting the contents of the Service's websites to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Service's websites. In particular, these files allow recognizing the basic parameters of the User's Device and properly display the webpage, tailored to their individual needs;
      2. correct handling of the partner program, enabling in particular the verification of sources of Users' redirections to the Service's websites.
    4. Remembering the user's location
      1. correct configuration of selected Service functions, allowing in particular for adjusting the information provided to the User, taking into account their location.
    5. Analysis, research and audience audit
      1. creating anonymous statistics that help understand how Service Users use the Service's websites, which allows improving their structure and content.
    6. Provision of advertising services
      1. adapting the advertisements of services and products of third parties presented via the Service;
    7. Ensuring service safety and reliability
  4. The Service Administrator uses External Cookies for the following purposes:
    1. Collecting general and anonymous static data through analytical tools:
      1. IdoSell Shop [cookie administrator: IAI S.A. based in Szczecin]
      2. Google Analytics [cookie administrator: Google Inc. based in the U.S.]
  5. Possibilities of Determining the Conditions of Storage or Access by Cookies
    1. The User can manually change the settings for Cookies at any time, specifying the conditions for their storage and the User's Device's access by Cookies. Changes to the settings referred to in the previous sentence can be made by the User using the web browser settings or by using the service configuration. These settings can be changed, in particular, in such a way as to block the automatic handling of Cookies in the settings of the web browser or to inform about their every posting in the User's device of the Service. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling Cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).
    2. The User may delete Cookies at any time using the available functions in the web browser they use.
    3. Restricting the use of Cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service's website.
